Class of ‘15 Graduates from HS
by Amanda Koeck

Proud parents, relatives, classmates, teachers, and friends gathered at Fitchburg State University on June 6 to see the Class of 2015 graduate from Lunenburg High School.
Described as passionate, amazing, smart, and talented by their peers, and the LHS faculty, the 109 seniors have received their high school diplomas and will set out on their journeys to work toward college degrees, careers, building families, and learning to care for themselves.
Student Council President, National Honor Society member and Gold L recipient Brook Hansel greeted guests and introduced the LHS Marching Band, who played the Star Spangled Banner to open the ceremony.
Salutatorian Jason Booth addressed the crowd and commented on the redundancy of well wishes, and congratulations around graduation time, and said, “Even if sentiments lose their luster, there is truth to everything they say. We really are a great class, and this really is a beautiful thing.”
The Class of 2015 then sang their class song “I Lived,” by One Republic. A small sea of bobbing blue graduation caps could be seen from the audience as the class danced in their places while they sang their chosen song.
