 Luck Tilts Towards Paula Bertram

    About 40 people showed up to Turkey Hill Middle School for the Citizens Party Caucus on March 16, where many seats stayed open for lack of nominations.
    The Planning Board went without nominations for a 2-year, and a 1-year seat, while Planning Board member Matthew Allison was nominated by current Planning Board Member Damon McQuaid for the open 5-year seat.
    There are also two three-year terms on the Sewer Commission that remain up for grabs, as no nominations were made at the caucus.
    The Library Board of Trustees still has one more 3-year term to be spoken for, as Gare Thompson and Lars Widstrand were nominated for two of the three seats.
    Assessor is wide open as no one was nominated for a 3-year seat, and no one stood up to nominate anyone for the Parks Commission, which as a 3-year, and a 1-year seat open.
