The Blue Knights qualified for the Central Mass. Tournament with a 4-1 win over visiting Gardner at Marshall Park. 

Football season may still be a few months away but that’s not stopping youngsters from taking part in an off-season strength and conditioning program at the Five Tool Evolution Training Facility inside Liberty Fitness.

The Lunenburg varsity baseball and softball squads made the trek to Ashburnham Wednesday afternoon and came back home with mixed results.

On Saturday afternoon the Lunenburg youth baseball and softball league held its annual Parade Day to ceremoniously kick off the 2012 season.

The Lunenburg baseball team welcomed Ayer/Shirley High School to Marshall Park on Thursday afternoon and used a strong outing from starting pitcher Parker Wyman to keep its hot streak going.

Nearly 70 local youth athletes participated in the Bengals Fun Clinic.

It’s been a week of ups and downs for the Lunenburg High School softball team.

The Lunenburg High School baseball and softball teams kicked off their respective seasons on Monday afternoon by welcoming Maynard to Marshall Park. Both Blue Knights squads struggled as the Tigers headed back home with a pair of wins.

The Lunenburg track teams opened the 2012 season on Friday, April 6 against league foe Bromfield.

It’s hard to imagine one without the other, things like peanut butter and jelly, peas and carrots and milk and cookies. Another perfect combination is Donna Wiitala and Monty Tech.
