The Lunenburg High boy’s soccer team is gearing up for another solid season on the field in 2011.

18 seniors hope to lead LHS to a winning 2011 season

Sustaining a winning program  isn’t an easy task, but the Lunenburg High field hockey team makes it look easy. Despite losing an extremely talented core of seniors from last year, the 2011 Blue Knights look to be one of the top competitors in Mid-Wach C .

This past Sunday the Lunenburg High girls track coach Steve Kyajohnian was selected as the Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association (MSTCA) Indoor track coach of the year, for his efforts in the 2009-2010 indoor season.

The Lunenburg Blue Knights softball team is playoff bound again for the fourth straight year following an 18-3 win over Bromfield last Friday.

After losing nine seniors from last year’s squad, the Blue Knights have a lot of newcomers at the varsity level. What the team lacks in experience, it makes up for in talent.

After losing a talented group of seniors from last year’s team, the Lunenburg High girl’s indoor track team picked up where it left off and finished strong once again this indoor season, behind a strong core of returnees and the help of some impressive newcomers.
