Four Lunenburg residents were among the 5,169 cyclists in the 32nd annual Pan-Massachusetts Challenge last August.

Bright lights, laughter, and the smells of homemade soup chased away the bitter cold of winter and created a sense of belonging last Thursday during “Walk, Sister, Walk”, a presentation at the United Parish Hall.

Brenda Marichal and Anne LeCuyer make a point to give back to the community 365 days a year, which is why, for the last year, they have had a special booth at Jefferey’s Antique CO-OP Mall on Chase Road.

 Since 1989, six Lunenburg High School girl high jumpers have reached the old LHS school record of five feet. On Saturday Dec. 12 Kelly Ulf broke the old record of five feet with a jump clearing five feet and one inch.

    The winter sports season has finally arrived, and Lunenburg’s ski team is working hard to be ready for another competitive winter.
