I don’t know about you but I have been waiting for this moment ALL YEAR! It’s finally time for The Lunenburg Ledger’s second annual BEST IN SHOW Pet Photo Contest!!!
    Claws and paws and caws and all,  this contest is for those sweet little guys in our lives who deserve to be recognize for being just so darn cute and cuddly!
    We want YOU to send in your favorite pet photos for a chance to win great prizes and walk away with a little furry fame.
    We will have three categories:
Best Dressed - your pet dressed in his or her favorite clothes, whether it’s a howling good Halloween costume, a purrfect parka or a sweet sweater. Runway model or fashion victim - it’s not what you wear but how you wear it.
Those Little Rascals - does your pet ever get adorably devious? Has he or she ever been caught in the act with one paw still in the cookie jar and you’ve got the pics to prove it? Well, we want to give the best burglars, the sleekest sneaks and the cutest crooks to make headlines!
I Make this Look Easy  - we love our pets and sometimes they don’t have to do anything but be who they are to make us smile. Whether at play or just lounging around the house, send us your favorite pictures of your pet being ‘just plain adorable!’
    We will be holding the contest until the end of October. Each week of the contest we will be putting your pet pics in the newspaper and on our Web site (Lunenburgledger.com.) Then it will be up to you, our readers to vote for your favorite photos. You can do this by going Online and visiting our Second Annual Best In Show Blog space to vote. Our three big winners will be announced in the October 29 edition of the newspaper.
    To enter, email your photos to dgink@verizon.net. With your photos be sure to include your pet’s name, age and breed along with the category you would like to enter. Also, provide us with your name and address and a phone number that we may use to contact you if you are a winner.
    Note: we’ll take pictures of all your pets, from Guinea pigs to iguanas!
