Winchendon resident faces several charges in connection to two local break-ins

A Winchendon resident was recently arrested in connection with two home break-ins in Lunenburg that occurred in the early morning hours on August 9 and 10, when the homeowners’ were sleeping.


    On August  11, Craig Lusco, 34 of Winchendon was arrested and charged with burglary unarmed, larceny over $250, breaking and entering a building nighttime for felony, larceny from a building, possession of a Class B drug (cocaine), and larceny of a motor vehicle. Charges are pending for fraudulent use of a credit card, according to Lt. James Marino.


    No one was injured in the break-ins as the residents were sleeping at the time.


    Lt. Marino said Tuesday morning that Lusco has yet to be arraigned on the above charges.
