Brenda Marichal and Anne LeCuyer make a point to give back to the community 365 days a year, which is why, for the last year, they have had a special booth at Jefferey’s Antique CO-OP Mall on Chase Road.
Since January 2011, Marichal and LeCuyer have been selling items at Jefferey’s to raise money for the Pat Brody Cat Shelter of Lunenburg.
"The booth has been working out awesome, we've received a ton of support from customers and dealers alike." said Anne LeCuyer.
100 percent of the proceeds from the booth go to the cat shelter.
"Gail has been fabulous to the shelter," said LeCuyer, adding that the women are not charged rent for the Pat Brody Shelter booth.
The booth offers all sorts of items from antique collectibles, cat related knick-knakcs, handmade donated items such as table runners and table cloths, and other crafts donated from a Pat Brody Shelter craft group.
If you would like to donate items for this booth, the women say they’d be happy to have the support. Items can be dropped off at the Pat Brody Shelter office on Northfield Road.
Marichal and LeCuyer are on hand at Jeffrey's most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
