Pauline A. Starr, 91, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Lunenburg and Leominster, died suddenly January 24, 2012, at the Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
Born in the Bronx, NY, she had been a resident of Vero Beach for 22 years coming from Lunenburg.
She was a member of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Fort Pierce, FL.
She was a long-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Indian River medical Center, having volunteered more than 15,000 hours.
Survivors include her sons, C. Dennis Starr and Rick (Kathy) Starr, both of Vero Beach, Arthur L. (Debbie) Starr, of Lyman, Maine, Peter G.(Gina) Starr of Biddeford, Maine, and George Starr, Jr. of Saco, Maine; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Starr, Candace (Dan) Jones, Sabrina Starr, Christa (Dan) Milano, Rick (Sarah) Starr, Tiffany Starr, and Alexandra (Tyler) Parker; and seven great-grandchildren, Michael and Marissa Donahue, Mathew Jones, Brandon Starr, Grace Starr Griffeth, Jackson Parker, and Emma Rose Milano.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, George Starr, Sr., who passed away in 2003.
The funeral was held from Brandon Funeral Home on Monday, January 30 in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Burial followed in North Cemetery, Lunenburg. Calling hours were Sunday, January 29, in the funeral home.
