This issue is our last of the year. Although, we will not publish on December 23 and 30 our office will remain open for your Ledger needs. If you want to order a photograph, renew a subscription or even sign up a friend, stop by! We will have limited office hours so you should call ahead.
This time of year allows our entire staff to break away from the weekly routine, recharge our batteries and spend time with family. Most of you acknowledged the third anniversary of the infamous Ice Storm of ‘08. What a contrast the weather is these days!
The entire staff would like to thank our readers, advertisers and contributors for their continued support in helping us remain Lunenburg’s weekly chronicle of life in town. What amazes us after 14 years of publication is the continuous stream of ideas for story coverage, features, profiles and interesting ideas about our town. The well is bountiful and we won’t stop until we have featured or profiled everyone in town!
Although we appreciate the support, we can’t be all things to all Lunenburgians at all times. We have schedules, deadlines and commitments to uphold. But we manage to appropriate content evenly throughout the year.
If you haven’t made plans already, please stop by our office in the Worker’s Credit Union Building this Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. and have some Cheer! This is our first Open House ever and we encourage you to stop by and discuss anything Ledger related.
And we won’t be gone long. Our first publication of 2012 will be January 6. So Happy Holidays and thanks for your support!
