LHS Students recognized at the Boston Flower Show

Last week 41 Lunenburg High School students braved the "Boston Blackout" to travel to the 2012 Boston Flower show. Of these, 31 student projects were on display at the Flower Show and competed against what the real world considers "amateurs". LHS is proud to announce that 24 of these plants were awarded ribbons.
Jeanne Hobson - 1st & 2nd place
Michael Wallmann - 3rd place
Siobhan Gile - 2nd & honorable mention
Emily Boucher - 2nd place
Dan Gendron - two 1st place ribbons
Julia Pochini - 1st and 2nd place
Katie O'Connell - 2nd place
Sam Perkins - 3rd place
Justin Wilson - 2nd & honorable mention
Jessica Lutinski - 1st & 3rd place
Terrance Spinner - 2nd & 3rd place
Haley Mullen - honorable mention
Keenan Carter - 2nd place
Conner Emma - 3rd place
Mrs Duquette - 2nd place
Amy Tsoukalas - three 1st place ribbons
Four LHS students were awarded Cultural Certificates for their outstanding specimens. Jeanne Hobson, Katie O'Connell, Haley Mullen and Jessica Lutinski were recognized for having the "best of the best" or "unusually skillful cultivation".
These plants will be on display at the LHS library though this week. Please feel free to come by and check out the students award winning projects.
