The Friends of the Lunenburg Public Library are beginning to prepare for their annual Book and Bake Sale on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In preparation of this sale, the Friends are asking the community to donate any gently used books that are in good condition with the exception of the following items textbooks, Reader’s Digest condensed books, magazines, encyclopedias, dictionaries, or any heavily used, torn, moldy or marked up books.
There will be two carts to the left of the library entrance doors where residents may leave donated books. Please do not place donations in the drop box.
All donations become the property of the library and may be added to the library collection or sold by the Friends of the Lunenburg Public Library at the book sale.
As in past year’s, the Friends have been able to make the Book And Bake Sale an event with something for everyone! There will be a selection of vintage books available for $5 and $10 each. There will also be CDs and DVDs, as well as a variety of fiction, nonfiction and children’s books.
Bake Sale items will include cookies, cupcakes and borwnies made by local volunteer chefs.
