A record-setting nine minute annual meeting took place at the Lunenburg Water District headquarters on Lesure Avenue on Saturday, March 27.

With coffee and donuts in hand, all three Water Commissioners, Dave Rodgers, John Esposito and Mark Bursch took turns reading the six articles.

Moderator Tim Murphy opened the meeting promptly at 10 a.m.

Before the Water Commissioners commenced with their annual Water District meeting, they held a Special Meeting to discuss its one-item warrant.

The only Special Town Meeting article was to vote on a sum of $40,000 to complete the purchase of meters, which are used to measure Lunenburg water district customers’ usage.
